Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden is involved in the WP1 with the co-supervision of DC2 together with THALES, and with the co-supervision of DC3 together with SINOWAVE and AIRBUS.

The leader of the KTH team is Prof. Oscar QUEVEDO-TERUEL.

KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) is responsible for one third of Sweden’s capacity for technical research and is the country’s largest organizer of technical/engineering education at university level. KTH is organized into five Schools, each covering a major field of engineering science. KTH education and research cover a broad spectrum from natural sciences to all branches of engineering plus architecture, industrial economics, urban planning, work science and environmental technology. In addition to the research carried out by KTH’s Schools, a large number of national Competence Centres are located at KTH.

There are 13633 full year-equivalent undergraduate students, almost 1722 active research students and 3628 full time-equivalent employees. KTH is at present involved in 243 ongoing Horizon 2020 projects, including 20 ERC projects and 59 MSCA projects. Extensive support exists at KTH to assist coordinators.
the Division of Electromagnetic Engineering belongs to the Avlén Laboratory, which was founded by the Nobel Prize awardee in Physics. This Division has 12 academics, and it conduct research and education in electromagnetics, applied physics, microwave technology and electromagnetic compatibility.
